The library says, 'Find your next great read, and the story behind the story, at the inaugural Local Authors Expo. Whether you love fiction or non-fiction, you’re sure to find something to love! From books on healing energy to science fiction to children’s stories, there’s something for everyone.

Our 15 authors will woo you with their elevator pitch and share their motivations for writing their books. Audience members will sit in small groups and authors will rotate amongst the audience in a speed-dating style format.

Discover the reading and writing culture in City of Moreton Bay and find books written in your own backyard. Presenting authors will have their published works available for purchase and signing on the night.

Free. Bookings are required. Arrive at 11:00 AM for a 11:30 AM start. Light refreshments will be served.'
