What a wonderful book this read is. I found it hard to put down. Still shedding tears.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book although it did take what felt like a long time to actually get to the meat of the story, this was because of the detailed background of the families involved which was a very necessary part at the beginning of the book. Once into the main story I definitely found it hard to put down and I will certainly be reading it again.

BIO
When Bev Young's marriage ended in 1992, her passion for writing was put on hold, superseded by the need for a steady income. A qualified Registered Nurse, she moved to Sydney to specialise in Palliative Care until relocating to Queensland in 2004.
Spare time away from writing, Bev indulges her love for travel and regular
visits with her only son Anthony and daughter-in-law Wendy. Their fantastic property near Baffle Creek in Queensland is always enticing, with freshly caught fish, prawns and mud crabs.
From 2017 to 2023 she has been included in
Winton Writers'
'Outback Anthology' and shortlisted in the top five in 2020.
